The pond of Beaucours

The pond of Beaucours, trout fishery, is located on the heights of Saint-Nicolas-du-Pélem in the wood of Beaucours. The edges of the body of water arranged allow you to go around it. The lake is surrounded by rocky chaos that recalls Toul Goulic. Do not disturb the inhabitants of the place, who are none other than the coassant frogs, the discreet otters and the proud herons… not to mention dragonflies and butterflies!

Here reigns a natural balance between fauna and flora: water lilies, reeds, water irises go well with the royal osmonde, a protected species of fern.
Three walks are available to walkers. The placards of a dragonfly, an owl or a squirrel indicate the difficulty. A small hiking path, arrowed in yellow, passes to Beaucours and continues towards the Rock of Guingamp , an imposing granite chaos.

Chaos de ToulGoulic : a wonderful naturel site

The site of ToulGoulic, a steep valley crossed by ash and alder trees that love the humidity of the banks, is shaded by oaks and beeches that populate the steep slopes.
But Toulgoulic is above all a granite chaos or snake and sometimes disappears the Blavet, a world of freshness where mosses, ferns and lichens of great diversity abound.
It is also the witness of a struggle between water and stone, chaos and river.
To understand the site, be silent… open your eyes… listen out… and let yourself be carried away by the spirit of the place …
